5 GCSEs grade 3 (grade D) or above. If you do not have any formal qualifications you must pass an entry exam. A satisfactory reference may be required.
Our GCSE programme is designed for students who may wish to improve their existing grades and study additional subjects, or for those who have not had the opportunity to sit for GCSEs.
Normally five subjects are taken from the following:
GCSEs are assessed by external examinations at the end of the year, combined with internal assessments in some subjects.
A Level or Level 3 programme. Students who have already gained good passes for their GCSEs should normally look to progress to a Level 3 course instead of a re-take course at Level 2.
Achieving GCSEs, especially English and mathematics, improves the chance of employment or gaining an apprenticeship.
