    This course is for candidates who have already completed the C&G6035 level 2 in Plumbing Craft and be working in the trade.

  • Who is the course for?

    This course is for candidates who have already completed the C&G6035 level 2 in Plumbing Craft and are working in the trade and would now like to upgrade their skills to become an entry level qualified plumber.

  • Study methods

    Tutor directed learning and assessment plan.
    Theory is delivered through blended learning which may include face to face and some online learning including Google classroom, I-GVS, Zoom and other online learning platforms. The mode of delivery will be governed by the Covid-19 guidelines adopted by the college at that time and may vary throughout the course.

  • How is the course assessed?

    Unit 003 is a multiple choice exam done in college
    Units 019 and 020 are a portfolio of on-site activities assessed in the workplace

    This course has flexible start dates throughout the year.
    Successfully completed skill scan that will assess a candidates site based experience and range of electrical installation work currently being carried out.
    Candidates will be given a maximum of 12 months to complete the NVQ qualification from their enrolment date.

    This is a full cost commercial course and all students pay fees, no concessions are available.
    ‘Fee refunds for commercial courses will not be awarded after two weeks before the scheduled start date of
    the course, unless the course is cancelled by the College.’

    Certification is based upon the achievement of the passing the course content and paying the fees in full.
