Leaners will study theoretical aspects of the subject and apply them to practical tasks. Learn about:
- engineering materials,
- planning and overseeing electrical work activities,
- principles of electrical science, electrical design and
- installation practices and procedures,
- principles of inspection, testing and commissioning electrical systems,
- electrical system fault diagnostics and rectification, and * requirements for electrical installations.

Entry requirements
A relevant Level 2 electrical installation qualification plus maths GCSE grade 4 (grade C) and 3 GCSEs grade 3 (grade D), including English and science and references may be taken up.

Develop your skills and underpinning knowledge to work or progress your career in the electrical contracting industry or an associated industry i.e. film, TV, lighting, maintenance etc.
