You will participate in work experience to gain a first hand insight into working in the sector.
3 GCSE at grade 3 or above including English or Maths or a relevant Level 1 course at a Pass/Merit or above

This course is ideal for those looking to progress into a career in health and social care.
Full time study 4 days in college and 1 day in work placement.
How is the course assessed?
The course is assessed both internally. Internally assessed units includes mixture of written assessment, recording/observations of practical work and presentations

Level 2 Vocational qualifications, such as BTEC Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care or the Level 2 in Children’s Play, Learning and Development.
