Each Unit integrates industry training with educational elements to link curriculum subjects with the real world. Industry Certificates will be issued to each student to aid their progression into industry training, University, Degree Apprenticeships and Apprenticeships.

Due to the critical shortage of aviation personnel worldwide across all jobs, we’re creating a Pathway which will commence in September 2024.

Study methods
All students will study an Introductory Diploma in the first year of their programme. This consists of classroom based activities and coursework and incorporates a weekly tutorial as well as private study.

Where Next – Job Opportunities
Pathways have been uniquely designed by the industry for the industry and built by a team of industry experts to provide learners with the required knowledge, skills and behaviours for aviation roles. This means that opportunities to progress into industry training and positions are clearly mapped out during the programme. Example pathways may include engineer, flight dispatcher, pilot.

Where Next – Further Studies
Upon completion, successful students gain a full Level 3 qualification, which equates to 3 A-Levels, validated by an examining body (NCFE) and can progress to industry training, Apprenticeships, Higher Education and Degree Apprenticeships.
