DESCRIPTION:Uxbridge College is proud to deliver its Football Academy for 1
 6-18 year olds with Chelsea FC Foundation.\nWe provide talented young spor
 ts people with the opportunity to develop their prospects of a career in f
 ootball while continuing with their education.\nQualified coaches from Che
 lsea FC will lead two coaching sessions a week and prepare students for th
 eir weekly matches against other academy sides throughout the season.\nThe
  programme will provide the most up to date\, comprehensive and high quali
 ty training for 16-18 year old students wishing to break into the football
  industry. Study and qualifications gained can also lead to opportunities 
 in the following fields:\n\nProfessional sports person\nCoaching\nSports T
 herapy\nFitness Industry\nLeisure Management\nTeaching\nHigher Education\n
 Overseas Scholarships.\n\nOur Football Academy provides you with a program
 me of football training while you work on a full-time course of academic s
 tudy. You will also participate in games in the British Colleges Sport Lea
 gue\, ECFA London.\nHighlights from previous years include:\n\nOutdoor adv
 enture activities including high ropes\, caving and wall climbing\nSports 
 Psychology talk by Mr Adam Morris (Director of com)\nCareer sessions with 
 guest speakers from UCAS\nWembley Stadium open days including match ticket
 s\nInspirational guest speakers\nEmployment support\nWork experience sessi
 ons and an insight into working life\nSky Academy Careers Lab including to
 urs of Sky Studios - Sky's state of the art production facility.\n\nRegist
 er for a trial:\nTrial dates for courses starting in September 2024 are as
