FAQs - Enrolment

Check out our FAQs below which we hope will answer some of your questions about enrolment, however if you require further information please feel free to get in touch.

  • Already had an interview?

If you have already had an interview with our teaching staff and been offered a place for this September, then we will contact you to confirm your enrolment details.

If you have any queries, please contact our friendly Admissions Team: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  • Will I receive any communication about enrolment from the College?

Yes, if you have made an application, we will be in touch with you with your next steps.

  • I’m not sure what subject/s I’d like to study?

Our friendly and supportive Careers Team are available during enrolment and will be able to help with any queries.

Our Senior Careers Advisor at Uxbridge College is Dorothy Ranson.

To contact Dorothy or our Careers Advisers call or email us on: 01895 853609 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  • What is the process for students enrolling with EHCPs?

If you have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), please ask your SEND Officer at your Local Authority to forward your plan to us as soon as possible. Any plans should be sent to our Inclusive Learning Team Leader in the Inclusive Learning Support department who will then be able to help you.

  • I've not applied for a course – can I still enrol?

If you have not applied for a place with us, you can still make an application. You can browse our courses by clicking here and apply on the course page that you want to study.

  • I studied overseas – will my overseas qualifications be OK for the course?

If your qualifications are not GCSEs or iGCSEs then we will need you to acquire a Statement of Comparability from ENIC. The College has access to ENIC so we will be able to get a comparison for you. Just come along with all your overseas qualifications.

  • When will I start at the College after I have enrolled?

Term starts on Tuesday 1 September. You will receive further information once you are fully enrolled with your specific course start date/time.

  • Useful information before you join us

We know starting college can seem a bit daunting, so here are a few things to help make it easier for you.

    Fees and Financial Support

16-18 year olds - most students aged between 16 and 19 won't pay fees, however, there may be additional course costs and you may be eligible for a bursary to cover this.

Make sure you know how you're getting to College before you start. If you haven't done the journey yet, make sure you do a practice run before you start. You can find out more about how to get to the College by clicking here.

16+ Oyster Card - 16-18 year olds who live in a London borough can apply for this, which will give you free travel on London buses.
