HRUC offer a range of services to schools for students in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13. We provide support to learners to progress from schools to further education and apprenticeships.

The College offer can be linked to the Gatsby Benchmarks as well as supporting the school to meet their commitment to the Technical and Further Education Bill’s amendment passed in the House of Lords in February 2017 by Lord Baker.

We encourage awareness of the many career opportunities available to young people and the vocational or academic qualification route they may need to take to succeed in their chosen career.

College staff can assist and work with schools to:

  • Provide vocational advice and guidance
  • Collaborate during Careers Events and Parents’ Evenings
  • Arrange visits to College for individual learners and/or groups
  • Organise workshops at the College or in your school for specific subject areas allowing students to get ‘hands on’ experience
  • Work with young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

HRUC is working in collaboration with West London and South London Careers Hubs, teams that are dedicated to improving careers education for young people by engaging directly with schools, colleges, apprenticeship providers, and employers.

  • In Year 10 and want to know more about College?

  • Feedback

    Greycourt School :

“Fantastic year 10 college taster day. This allowed 50 of our students to explore college life and have subject tasters to help them think about their future pathways. Having that day on site gave those students a real idea about college life and we have seen how motivated they are to apply early this term.”

    Thomas Knyvett College:

“The College has been a fantastic partner in supporting our students with post-16 choices. Their assemblies, parents’ evenings, and campus visits have given our students the knowledge and confidence to plan their future.”

    Youthcareers.org.uk:

"Working with the team is always a wonderful experience. They are consistently friendly, positive, and incredibly supportive. When working with young people, they show exceptional patience and engagement; answering every question and helping guide them toward the path that’s right for them."
