  • Principles of Costing
  • The Business Environment

    LIBF (London Institute of Banking & Finance) course units include:

  • Unit 1: Personal Financial Encounters (PFE)
  • Unit 2: Money Management Solutions (MMS)
  • Unit 3: Personal Finance Management.
  • Entry requirements

    Applicant should possess at least GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 4 or above (and may be asked to sit an entrance test).

  • Who is the course for?

    Students who wish to gain a professional qualification and are aiming to be employed in an accounting or financial environment.

  • Study methods

    The aim is to provide a good theoretical understanding of bookkeeping and accounts and to reinforce learning with simulated workplace assignments. In addition to college attendance, students must be prepared to commit to at least 15 hours of study time per week.

  • How is the course assessed?

    There is a computer based exam for each of the units.
    In addition, students would need to complete 40 hours of accounting related work experience.

    Students who achieve a Merit at level 2 can apply for AAT level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
