The course consists of four main art & design projects and alongside these you will also study Functional Skills in English and follow a programme in personal and social development.
You will learn about:

- Animation & 3D design
- Health and safety procedures
- The work of other artists,designers and crafts people.

Entry requirements
No entry requirements are required but you must have an interest in the subject area you are applying for. You will have a College interview and references may be taken up. You need to show some examples of artwork or creative work.

Who is the course for?
This one year introductory learning course in art, design and media is for those students who wish to develop their creative work across a range of disciplines.

The course is continually assessed against units of study. Competence must be proved in all areas of study before the full award is granted.
