Units in this course include:
- 001 Health and safety
- 004 Use of hand tools and equipment
- 104 Brakes, Steering and Suspension
- 101 Routine vehicle maintenance
A relevant Level 1 Diploma in motor vehicle
Have the required attendance and punctuality record from level 1, including English and Math. 4 GCSEs grade 2 (grade E or above) including English and Math.
Who is the course for?
This course is for motivated learners with a passion for motor vehicle. Learners who wish to pursue a career in a fast fit organisation. Learners who require more time and support with study and passing exams.
Learners who may have a language barrier or learning difficulty which would impact on the demands of a full diploma.
4.5 hours theory, 6 hours practical, 1 hour EPR. Inhouse and 2xonline exams (C&G)
How is the course assessed?
Practical assessments, Curriculum developed exams and 2x City and guilds exams (GOLA)
Full time contact hours 11.5 hours spread over four days.
