For international students, HRUC provides a range of excellent, university-level courses at a reasonable cost.
How has your experience been with studying at HRUC?
My teachers have been very helpful whenever I misunderstood a concept in class. One of my teachers was kind enough to sit down with me and re-explain what was taught in class during her free time. The school tries their best to involve international students in several activities.
Being a member of the netball team has helped me stay fit.
I've volunteered at school events, which has allowed me to learn more about the different courses the school offers. I was also given the opportunity to take part in a work experience/internship with other international students, and it has been an exciting adventure.
How did the staff support you?
The staff did a great job helping me while I was having trouble with my assignments. The skills instructor took the time to learn about my issues and challenges. To assist me to do my schoolwork on time, we devised a timetable. The team made sure to make me feel comfortable.
What are the facilities like that are related to your course?
When we don't have our own computers, we computing students can borrow one to use within the College for however long, which is a great resource. We also have a common space where we may wait for our lessons.
What is the best thing about studying at HRUC?
The café is among my favourite features. The cafeteria provides a large selection of cuisine that is suitable for everyone, including vegetarians.
The College's ability to accommodate the international students is another aspect I like. They always took care to soothe me and convince me that everything will be well whenever I felt overwhelmed.
What are your plans for the future?
After receiving my diploma, I hope to find employment. If I don't succeed with it, I might continue my education at a university.
