C&G Level 3 Award in Education & Training (6502-31) - PT Evening (C3AETE)

Learners should have minimum Level 2 Functional Skills in English Literacy and Maths.

This course is for those who are interested in taking an introductory course in teaching in post-16 i.e. Further Adult and Community Education as teachers or trainers. No previous experience is required in teaching or training.

Incorporate reading and research of specific texts related to the topics studied and there is also time allocated for studies to be completed electronically using online searches and blogs.

Assessment is through short written assignments presented in a final portfolio of evidence. The practice teaching session (micro-teach) is also presented within the portfolio.

   This course requires an initial literacy assessment before a place can be offered. Following your initial assessment, you will be contacted with a date once your completed application form has been received.

Working as a teacher or trainer in post-16 education.

If employment as a teacher or trainer is secured on completion of this qualification, participants may be eligible to study the PGCE / Cert Ed Diploma in Education and Training (DET).
