    In addition to learning about these subjects in the classroom, you will gain first-hand experience of what it’s like in industry by participating in work experience.
  • Entry requirements

    4 GCSEs grade 9-4 (grade C and above) preferably including both English & maths or a relevant Level 2 qualification. References may be taken up.

  • Who is the course for?

    This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge for a career in travel and tourism by learning about customer service, hospitality and resort representatives, conference and events, airports and airlines, responsible and specialist tourism.

  • Study methods

    Lectures, workshops, group work, visiting speakers, practical sessions and outside visits to provide students with a realistic view of the industry. This course will also involve a UK and overseas residential trip.

    You will have the opportunity to learn in our state of the art Mock Up Aircraft and Check In.

    You will be taught by a team of lecturers with a high level of industry knowledge and subject experience who will equip you with transferrable skills, preparing you for life after college.

    Course work, assignments, time constrained assignments, online exams and practical applications of skills.

  • Where Next – Job Opportunities

    The course gives you the skills and knowledge to work in airports, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels or other accommodation, tourist information centres, tourist attractions, cruise line companies, holiday centres, conference or events organisations.

  • Where Next – Further Studies

    Progress from the Level 3 Diploma in Travel & Tourism onto our BTEC Level 4 HNC in Travel & Tourism Management. NCFE Qualifications carry 48 to 160 UCAS points and are widely accepted by universities across the country.
