This course covers how to cut and finish hair using basic cutting and styling. The following techniques are taught;
- One length
- Forward graduation
- Long graduation
- Basic blow drying using both flat and round brushes
- Wet setting and dry setting techniques.

Who is the course for?
For those who would like to learn basic cutting and styling skills or those who are interested in starting a career in hairdressing. Previous experience in cutting hair is not required

Study methods
This course is based on practical lessons with some elements of theory learning to recap and imbed previous learning.

How is the course assessed?
No formal assessment, but you will be given personal feedback by your tutor.
Please note that you must achieve 80% and above attendance to receive your college certificate. -
