This qualification covers the following:
- Implement and maintain safe, hygienic and effective working practices
- Consult, assess, plan and prepare for hairdressing/barbering services
- Combine barbering cutting and clipper techniques to create a bespoke restyled look
- Design and create facial hair shapes using advanced techniques
- Provide shaving services using a straight razor with single use blades
- Creatively colour and lighten the hair using advanced techniques
- Design and create hair designs and shapes in the hair using advanced clipper and razor techniques.
Learners will also take part in work experience as part of the programme, providing valuable industry exposure and the opportunity to apply and further develop their barbering skills in a real working environment.

Learners must hold a recognised Level 2 Barbering qualification before enrolling on this programme.
