How is the course assessed?
This course has two main parts over two years, and each part has different ways to test what you’ve learned.
Year 1 - Core Knowledge (Learning About Health Basics):- Exams: Two written tests to check what you know about health topics like safety and patient care.
- Employer Set Project (ESP): A practical task set by employers to see how you solve real-world health problems.
Year 2 - Adult Nursing Skills (Learning to Help Adult Patients): - Synoptic assessments: Practical and written assessments that demonstrate a range of skills and knowledge acquired throughout the course, including those gained during the industry placement.
