Music

This course offers a hands-on introduction to music creation using Ableton Live, designed for beginners and intermediate learners.

You’ll start by exploring the software interface, learning how to set up your workspace, and understanding the core tools used in digital music production. You’ll create music using MIDI instruments, sampled audio, and optionally your own recorded sounds. The course covers how to connect and use MIDI keyboards and other peripherals to enhance your workflow.

Alongside technical skills, you’ll develop your musical ear and gain a basic understanding of music theory to support your creative decisions. As your track takes shape, you’ll learn essential mixing techniques to balance and polish your sound.

You’ll also be introduced to mastering—the final step in music production—to prepare your track for sharing or release.

By the end of the course, you’ll produce a complete track, either original or a cover, and collaborate with fellow music creators in a supportive environment. This course provides a practical foundation in the key stages of music production, helping you build confidence and creativity with Ableton Live.
