Media students got the chance to quiz some of the biggest names in the radio business when Trevor Nelson and his fellow DJs from BBCRadio1Xtra visited the College.
The DJ was joined by his 1Xtra Breakfast co-presenter Gemma Cairney, daytime presenter Max, and DJ Semtex, all from the BBC's digital station, 1Xtra.
The four spoke to students on the BTEC National Diploma in Media about life as a DJ, their careers, and how to break into the world of music journalism.
The students were invited to an on air party broadcast live on 24 September from Wembley Arena, and five won tickets to the station's flagship music event on 25 September, '1Xtra Live', also at Wembley Arena.
Chris Lowthorpe, Course Team Leader in Media and Games Design at Uxbridge College, said: "This has been a truly aspirational event for Uxbridge College and we are privileged to have been chosen by BBCRadio1Xtra to work with such celebrated DJs.
"We want all our students to do their best, and being around any expert in their field inspires them to think big. Uxbridge College gives them the resources to identify their strengths and fulfil their potential."
