Students and staff from the Health & Social Care and Creative Arts School came together for an inspiring Celebration Day Cultural Event, recognising outstanding student achievements while celebrating the rich diversity of the College community.
The event welcomed guests from across the College and began with opening remarks from Rose Etim-Ibom, Head of School, who praised students for their dedication, resilience and the positive impact they make both in the classroom and across college life.

- Unshakeable Optimism.
These awards showcased not only academic success but also kindness, determination and a positive attitude.

Celebrating Culture and Community
The celebrations continued with an exciting programme of cultural performances, including traditional dance displays that reflected the diverse backgrounds of the College community. Students and staff also enjoyed an international lunch, providing the perfect opportunity to share food, stories and experiences while building new friendships and strengthening connections.
Music from around the world, played by a live DJ, created a lively atmosphere throughout the day, while an interactive dance workshop encouraged everyone to step outside their comfort zone by learning dances from different cultures.
The students all had an amazing time celebrating with their peers. Patricia Joy Realeza (Access student) said; “Cultural Day was enjoyable, educational and inspiring. It brought students together, created lasting memories and showed how diversity enriches our college community. Thank you to all the staff”.
